So you plan on getting to the gym every evening but you’ve been exhausted from work, overwhelmed with responsibilities, and just tired from adulting in general. Or, pizza and Netflix just sounds like a way better alternative to you. So how do you change up your routine to better maximize your progress and take steps towards achieving your goals?
Have you ever heard of the 6 minute morning miracle? It’s a great way to start the day and a way to set yourself up for success for the rest of the day.
I encourage you to take it a step further. Once you’ve mastered 6 minutes, prepare enough time to still use that 6 minutes, and then add in the gym. Your goal at the gym can be a simple 20 minute workout, and increase over time if you begin to enjoy your new routine.
Here are some steps to take to make sure you have no excuses the morning of:
- Pick out your gym clothes and your work clothes for the next day.
- Pack your gym bag. If you shower there, make sure to pack all of the essentials.
- Prep your meals and supplements.
- Plan your workout.
- Reward yourself.
