Protein Waffles

So, I have been seeing a lot of posts about protein waffles lately (probably because there’s some secret way that social media posts content about what I am talking about…), and I wanted to try my own. I will share with you my first, and least flattering attempt at my protein waffles.

Processed with VSCO with hb2 presetSo, I use PEScience – Select Vegan Protein  and PBfit All-Natural Peanut Butter Powder  for my recipes. I love the PEScience Vegan series (let me warn you, the taste is of course different because this is plant based protein), and combining it with my favorite flavors to get the perfect taste!

IMG_5063I used:

  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 scoop PBFit
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup egg whites
  • 4 TBSP water
  • 1/8 tsp baking powder

If it is too thick, just add a little more water. If you are using a different protein powder, I suggest saving the water for the end so you can get the perfect consistency with the protein of your choice.


I am so grateful that my wonderful mother-in-law got this for us for the shower. This is the first time we have brought it out, because Tim has been on a “bacon pancakes” kick. What’s your go-to breakfast when you have time to cook at home? During the week our breakfasts are all grab and go, but on the weekends we like to cook and sometimes grab food at our favorite breakfast spots with out loved ones.
